Efficient Solar Solutions Installed in Optimal, Non-Intrusive Locations
Most of our solar installations sit on a roof, and for the majority of homes and businesses, that is the right choice. But roofs aren’t always the best option – they can be too small, poorly oriented, shaded, listed or already carrying other equipment. In those cases, and on properties with the available land, a ground-mounted system can make more sense.
We install ground-mounted solar systems across Oxfordshire and the Cotswolds, on farms, estates, rural properties and commercial sites.

Who this works for
Available land, high daytime demand, and large potential capacity make ground-mounted a natural fit. Click to learn more abou agricultural solar installations
Where the land is available, a ground-mounted system generates significantly more energy
Business parks, industrial sites and larger commercial premises often have unused land that can generate serious returns. Click to learn more about commercial solar solutions
For rural or larger domestic properties where a rooftop system won't cover the household's needs
Design and land use
A well-designed ground-mounted system should complement rather than dominate the site. Ground-mounted systems can be designed to support biodiversity beneath and around them, with wildflower planting and grazing space compatible with many setups. On agricultural land, that means the space can continue to work for the farm, as well as for energy generation.
Planning permission might be required in some cases, particularly on larger systems. We will talk you through what applies to your project as part of the survey.
