Accreditations & Partners

We are a team of highly experienced and qualified electricians and roofers. We are committed to continually updating our skills and partnering with some of the best suppliers in the industry.

Why accreditations matter

Solar is a significant investment, and the standard of installation can vary widely across the industry. The accreditations that we hold are an independent confirmation that our work has been assessed against recognised standards for quality, safety and consumer protection.

Before choosing any renewable installer, it is worth asking what accreditation they have. Below we share more information about. the certifications we hold at Lumos PV, why each one, and what it means for you as a customer. Wherever possible, we have linked to our profile on each body’s own website, so you can verify our membership directly.

If you’d like to find out any additional information about any of our accreditations, please reach out to our team

Our accreditations

MCS Certified Installer

MCS is the UK’s quality mark for home renewable technology, such as solar panels and battery storage. Being MCS certified means we have demonstrated that we work to recognised industry standards for quality, competency and compliance. It also matters financially: an MCS-certified installation is what allows you to access the Smart Export Guarantee and get paid for the energy you export to the grid.

You can verify us by searching “Lumos P.V Power Systems Ltd” on the MCS website.

RECC

RECC (Renewable Energy Consumer Code) exists specifcally to protect domestic customers buying renewable energy systems. By signing up to the Code, we commit to high standards of fairness and transparency in how we sell and deliver our work. For you, it means a clear route to recourse and reassurance of independent consumer protection.
